Midwest Association of Rail Shippers

The Midwest Association of Rail Shippers is headquartered in the Chicago area. General membership comes from the provinces of Manitoba and Saskatchewan and the states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

Its objective is to provide an open forum for resolving transportation and car supply problems, coupled with programs designed to educate and inform the membership in areas of railroad operating practices, new innovations in transportation and legislative matters. Meetings are held twice a year, in January and July. Dues are $25 per year.

The 244TH regular meeting of the Midwest Association of Rail Shippers will be held at the Hilton Chicago Oak Brook Hills Resort on January 14 & 15, 2015.

The theme for this meeting is RAIL SHIPPING 2015: MEETING THE CHALLENGES OF HIGH DEMAND and we are hosting a very full agenda filled with keynoters and all stars. Some of the highlight speakers are (in order of appearance):
